Family reunion
Thanks to the air conditioning in each room, we were able to easily withstand the heat. The shade of the trees and the air circulation made it possible to sit outside for lunch and dinner. Some of the participants will surely return with pleasure. Excellent weekend.

An exceptional cottage that fully deserves its five ears of corn, in a beautiful, calm, and relaxing environment. The renovation of this spacious building was carried out with great attention to the choice of materials and decor. The bedrooms and adjoining bathrooms are all very comfortable. Nothing is missing. Having come for a wedding, we just wished we could have spent more time there to relax and enjoy the surroundings. It was a pleasure talking to Anne and Didier, the most welcoming hosts. We recommend without hesitation. It was perfect.

We had a pleasant stay at La Mélinothe.
The setting is very calm and relaxing, ideal for recharging your batteries. The cottage is very spacious, well-equipped, and the bedding is extremely comfortable!
Close to the highway for easy access and all local shops.

We were looking for a place that could accommodate 4 couples of friends with several criteria - Room with private bathroom - Large living space - Relaxation area (games) - Pétanque / Jacuzzi With "La Mélinothe", it's done, it largely corresponds to our expectations. As friendly as they are professional and welcoming, Didier and Anne are attentive and incredibly flexible (use of the spa, check in, check out). They've created a true haven of peace, tastefully decorated and perfectly equipped. The bedding is extremely comfortable, and the setting is beautiful and peaceful. This is the second time we booked this cottage. The house is very pleasant, spacious, warm, and clean. There are five bedrooms, four of which have their own bathroom and toilet. We enjoyed the jacuzzi and sauna. The owners are attentive and caring. I highly recommend it!

Wij hebben met een group van 8 volwassenen een heerlijke 10-daagse vakantie gehad en la Mélinothe. Spijtig van het mindere weer maar de lite maakt alles goed. Deze is prachtig gerestaureerd; ruime leefruimte met annex keuken, 5 slaapkamers waarvan 4 met badkamer, prachtige tuin, wellnessruimte indienne gewenst. Alles are your hands. De omgeving leent zich tot het maken van mooie fietstochten, bezoek aan historische steden en musea. We hebben genoten, met dank an Anne, Didier en Gregory. 5/5

We just had a wonderful Easter weekend with our family in this very well-appointed, very well-equipped and charming house. Perfect winter stay!
Another wonderful stay at La Mélinothe, where we returned for the second time, this time with our friends, after a few days spent with our families for our wedding in June. The atmosphere was very different, but also very pleasant in winter, where we were able to enjoy the magnificent fireplace and the spa. The house is very comfortable and perfectly equipped; you couldn't dream of anything better, and you feel right at home. A perfect weekend to unwind.

We were very well received by our hosts and fully informed about the gîte's operations. We had a very pleasant stay. The gloomy December weather limited our outings, so we fully appreciated the gîte's comfort, its amenities, its fireplace, and the space. Our team of 10 people moved around and found their place without getting in each other's way. With Troyes only a 30-minute drive away, getting supplies is easy. Walks in the city or in the countryside are very pleasant. In short, we warmly recommend this beautiful gîte, which fully deserves five stars.

Great house

Marvelous gîte
A fantastic place to spend time with family and friends. The house is beautiful, spacious and comfortable. The kitchen is equipped with everything you need to make dinner for a large group, the best equipped we've ever had! The bedrooms are beautifully decorated and the beds very comfortable. The garden is delightful with beautiful plants and plenty of garden furniture- a special place to enjoy the peace and quiet. Didier and Anne are lovely, welcoming hosts, who speak excellent English. The local area is very pretty and there are plenty of things to do and see within a short drive. I thoroughly recommend a visit and we will definitely return! Everything was perfect from start to finish. The cottage is superb and warm, you could feel right at home. It really has everything you need. The bedding is excellent and the shower/WC in 4 of the 5 bedrooms is a real plus. It's very quiet and well located. We loved the area and there's plenty to visit. A big thank you to Didier for his warm welcome. Didier is an available and caring host for his guests, attentive to every detail. La Mélinothe is a very well-designed cottage with everything you need to feel good, bathroom with WC adjoining each room, everything is provided. We had a great weekend with friends for a hen party where we were able to enjoy the spa and sauna which was a very pleasant moment of relaxation, a little extra that we greatly appreciated. Too bad the weather wasn't great because the outside is magnificent too. We will come back next time with the sun. We highly recommend Nadine.

A very warm welcome from the owners. A very pleasant and comfortable cottage that the whole family enjoyed. In addition, the weather was great, so we were able to enjoy the outdoor areas. Wonderful weekend
Magnificent cottage, extremely comfortable, exceptionally clean... We spent a weekend there with friends and nothing was missing. The cozy atmosphere by the fire, the very nicely decorated rooms (with bathroom and toilet), the spa as pleasant as possible, the nature, the calm... in short it was a perfect weekend! We only have one desire: to come back very soon!

The setting was great for a relaxing weekend. The accommodation was super professional and the hosts very welcoming. I recommend it.

A pleasant home, ideal for large families. We had a very pleasant week with hosts who were always there to help us if needed. And thank you again for the chamber pot to wake us up, the newlyweds. The garden is perfect, the interior carefully decorated. And what's more, there's a bathroom with a toilet in the bedrooms. The location is very quiet. I recommend this house for your vacation.

Fully accommodated in convenient ligging. A warm welcome from the likes of Didier and Anne (die naast Frans ook heel goed Engels spreken). Het huis ontbreekt aan niets, echt alles est aanwezig. Please note that these items should not be damaged. Mooie ruime slaapkamers met ieder een eigen toilet en douche. Op loopafstand een prachtig meer ter verkoeling en vermaak. Bedankt voor jullie gastvrijheid Didier en Anne een accommodation om trots op te zijn!!

I recommend 100%! We were won over by the welcome from Anne & Didier, warm, available, flexible and attentive! The cottage is very cozy, perfectly equipped, whether for the kitchen or for leisure activities! The bedding is of very good quality and the rooms are spacious, nothing to complain about the cleanliness and functionality of the place. We particularly appreciated the spa, the pétanque court and the large, quiet garden, with plenty of space for children! We will return with great pleasure to this little corner of paradise!

Excellent stay with family, cousins, adults and children Very pleasant cottage, spacious, comfortable, suitable for all ages, neat and warm decoration. The garden is also not forgotten (many rest areas and tables, large area for games) this among flowers and greenery. The hosts are charming, considerate, responsive with many little attentions, cider and apple juice in the fridge on arrival and cherries to pick at will. Excellent welcome from the owners who were attentive to our comfort. The cottage is superb, very clean and pleasant to live in. Large, well-equipped garden area. Ideal for our Qigong and storytelling workshop, which we all have wonderful memories of.
