La Mélinothe is a completely independent gîte with a total surface area of 235 m2, with a large central living/dining room and kitchen area, 5 bedrooms, 4 shower rooms with WC, 2 separate WCs, 1 gym, 1 activity room.
The living rooms:
On the ground floor, you will find a large cathedral-shaped living room, warm, friendly and modular, overlooking the garden, and featuring a large wood-burning stove in Lorraine earthenware, a large-screen HD TV with Sound/Home Cinema, a perfectly equipped kitchen, a dining room (table for 10 people extendable to 12 people, high chair for baby) and a toilet. It has coat racks, a shoe cabinet and a very comfortable leather sofa.
You also have a weight room upstairs (dumbbells, pull-up bars, machines), a small lounge and relaxation/reading area (on the mezzanine),and a large activity room dedicated to meetings, training courses, etc. (optional activity room for thematic groups, with payment of a supplement of €100/stay and per week).
The large oak staircase connecting the large living room to the upper floor can be equipped with barriers to protect young children.
The wooden walkway connecting the 2 spaces on the upper floor is secured by guardrails. The chimney flue on the upper floor is secured to prevent any contact for young children.
On the mezzanine upstairs, children will have a relaxation area with games, mattresses, cushions and books.
The 5 bedrooms:
Inspired by our travels and our countryside, we had a lot of fun decorating each room differently. The comfort of each is identical thanks to very comfortable bedding and bathrooms equipped with generous Italian showers. The beds can be separated or twinned, according to your needs. Quality bed linen and towels are provided, and your beds will be ready for your arrival.Finally, we paid particular attention to thermal and sound insulation.
It's up to you to choose your favorite atmosphere!
On the ground floor:
- the Touaregs room has a surface area of 16m2, and is equipped with separable beds (1 bed 160x200 or 2 beds 80x200), and a private bathroom (Italian shower, sink, WC). It is located on the west side, a burglar-proof French window allows direct access to the outside, to the garden and the terrace. For storage, you have a chest of drawers and a wardrobe.
- the India room has a surface area of 16m2, and is equipped with separable beds (1 bed 180x200 or 2 beds 90x200), and a private bathroom (Italian shower, sink, WC). It is located on the west side, a burglar-proof French window allows direct access to the outside, to the garden and the terrace. For storage, you have a chest of drawers and a wardrobe.
- the Zen room is accessible to disabled people. It has a surface area of 18m2 and is equipped with separable beds (1 bed 180x200 or 2 beds 90x200) and a private bathroom (Italian shower, sink, WC). It can accommodate a folding bed and baby equipment. For storage, you have a chest of drawers and a wardrobe.
Upstairs:
- the Chêne room, a magnificent large triple room of 30m2, is equipped with separable beds (1 bed of 180X200 + 1 bed of 90X200 or 3 beds of 90x200) and a possible extra bed, and a private bathroom (Italian shower/WC/sink). It can also accommodate a folding bed and baby equipment. For storage, you have a chest of drawers and a large closet.
- the Coquelicots room, has a surface area of 15m2, and is equipped with separable beds (1 bed of 180X200 + 1 bed of 90X200 or 3 beds of 90x200). It has a separate toilet with sink. For storage, you have a chest of drawers, a shelf and a wardrobe. There is a special TV screen for video games.
Please note that each room has its own key which also allows you to open the front door of the gîte and the gate leading to the street.
Finally, access to the spa/sauna wellness room is offered (€90/3-hour session).

La Mélinothe is an old 19th century farmhouse, renovated with great taste, located on the land of the owners but with access and independent, private and enclosed outdoor spaces (terraces/lawns) to preserve the privacy of guests: garden furniture, dining table, relaxation lounge, deckchairs, barbecue, parasols, parking available.
La Mélinothe welcomes you to an authentic and warm place. In all seasons, you will feel at home, in beautiful bright volumes, original woodwork and cheerful decoration.
Your stay will be key in hand since everything is included in the price: heating, electricity, wood, wifi, sheets (beds made on arrival), bathroom linen, household linen, end of stay cleaning, provision of 'a clothes dryer.
In its rural setting at the end of the village, with a view of the rolling countryside and the fields, La MELINOTHE is an ideal gîte for a relaxing and comfortable stay with family or friends. In terms of privacy, the cottage is independent of our house and not overlooked.
